1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Waydly, a product of PolarCurve LLC (a Wyoming, United States limited liability company), uses cookies and similar technologies on waydly.com and on the authenticated dashboard at app.waydly.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Similar technologies include local storage (browser key-value storage), session storage, and pixel tags. In this policy, we refer to cookies and similar technologies together unless the context requires otherwise.
3. Categories we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled.
waydly_session— set on the authenticated dashboard (app.waydly.com) after you sign in via magic link. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: 30 days. Purpose: authenticate you across pages of the dashboard.waydly_cookie_consent_v1— stored in local storage on waydly.com. Lifetime: 12 months. Purpose: remember and honor your cookie preferences and record that choice. This storage is strictly necessary to comply with consent requirements and cannot be disabled without breaking that compliance._csrf— a single-use, per-session CSRF token embedded in any hosted Waydly form page (waydly.com/f/<slug>) you may visit. Lifetime: 30 minutes. Purpose: prevent cross-site request forgery on form submission.
3.2 Functional (off by default)
These would let us remember non-essential preferences (UI theme, language). We currently use none. If we add any, they will be off until you grant consent here.
3.3 Analytics (off by default)
These would allow us to measure how visitors use waydly.com to improve the product. We currently use none on waydly.com — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no Cloudflare Web Analytics. Click events on Waydly links you create are recorded server-side without any cookie or browser identifier (see our Privacy Policy §3 for what we record).
3.4 Marketing (off by default)
These would allow third-party advertising networks to track you across sites for ad targeting. We currently use none: no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight Tag.
4. Your choices
On your first visit to waydly.com, you are presented with a cookie-consent banner with three options:
- Accept all — enables functional, analytics, and marketing categories.
- Reject all — keeps only strictly necessary cookies. As easy to choose as Accept.
- Manage preferences — choose each non-essential category individually. All non-essential categories are off until you turn them on.
No non-essential cookies are set before you make a choice. You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, or by using the button below.
Your current choice: not set.
5. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the authenticated dashboard at app.waydly.com may not work — you would not be able to stay signed in.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective date" at the top of this page. If we introduce a new non-essential cookie category, we will re-prompt you for consent.
